After the meter
If the low-flow indicator moves with every fixture off, note the reading and shut off the house supply. Continued movement may shift attention to the private line or an outdoor branch.
When the meter moves and the yard looks dry
Around Saddle Club Drive, Castleford Road, and Heather Road, a rising water bill may have more than one possible source. The useful first move is to separate the private service line from irrigation and indoor plumbing before anyone opens a yard or floor.

The City of Midland subdivision map identifies Saddle Club in the city's northwest, and city council records locate Saddle Club South near Castleford and Heather. A property with outdoor watering, hose bibbs, or a long path from meter to house should be tested circuit by circuit; a wet patch alone cannot tell you which line failed.
If the low-flow indicator moves with every fixture off, note the reading and shut off the house supply. Continued movement may shift attention to the private line or an outdoor branch.
A zone that loses pressure, leaves a persistent damp strip, or runs longer than expected points toward valve, head, or lateral checks before the domestic line is blamed.
If the meter stops when the house shutoff closes, check toilets, water heaters, appliance feeds, and concealed supply runs before considering a slab opening.
Compare a recent bill with a meter reading taken when all planned water use is off.
Check the house shutoff and irrigation controls separately, where the plumbing layout permits.
Use pressure, moisture, and acoustic observations on the suspect section; mark any needed excavation only after the route is understood.
